Suppose for a moment a family member of yours would be murdered.

Jesus says, in plain language, that unless we forgive others their trespasses, God will not forgive ours.

So, could it be that when you don't forgive the one who murdered your beloved, but otherwise lead a thoroughly christian life, you end up in hell?

It seems the bible says that not all sins are forgivable. John calls some sins sins leading to death. Do I have to forgive if someone committed a mortal sin against me?

Take a child raper. Could he be forgiven?
