Forgiveness
In six days, the Orthodox Church will observe the Sunday of Forgiveness, which is the eve of Lent. At Vespers on Sunday evening, everyone present will ask forgiveness of everyone else present.
There's some concern in many circles about syncretic mixing of Orthodoxy with other things; I see the point, but of all the things we do, this forgiveness is one that is good for export, and desperately needed, especially on the internet. It's also something that can, to some extent, be done online (even if we can't prostrate ourselves in front of each other this way.)
