The Ramones were playing. Danny thought he'd had a heartattack when he saw the phonograph, and his grin eclipsed itself when he shuffled over to a shelf and read the record titles. This room was, in a word, amazing

Andra bounded into the room ecstatically, brandishing a great basket of alcohol and various mature-themed gag gifts. Edible underwear, chocolate body-paint -- James had really outdone himself. She dropped it off on the nearest table and beamed around at the room. It was perfect.
She spotted Danny and squealed. "Your party, finally!" she cried, running over to greet him as he broke hug with Rowan. She tossed another package at him, for him to open later. "Everyone needs to get here pronto," she added.
She turned to Rowan, smiling still. "Rowan, right? I remember you from yesterday morning in charms I believe. Andra," she offered, sticking out her hand warmly.
"It's all right," Danny smiled at Rowan. "I'm touchy sometimes, I know it."
He hugged Andra, then, grateful for her presence. "What on Earth have you brought with you?" He looked very curious, but then dragged them both to the phonograph. "Look at this, look! It's brilliant. Isn't it brilliant?"
The Ramones were playing, some song about a girl named Suzy being a punk. His grin was huge. "I love it," he said. "It's perfect."
Andra looked indignant as he asked about what she'd brought. "Why, my dearest Uncle Morgan!" she replied with a laugh. "I told you he'd come. He's brought a few friends, hope you don't mind."
She smiled wide, patting him gently on the cheek. "And a few goodies I'm sure you're willing to share with party goers. But that's later."
Letting herself be drug over to the phonograph, she grinned. "It is brilliant," she replied, feeling an overwhelming fondness for Danny. He was so happy, and it made her heart light to see it.
Remys smile was casually interested as he wandered inside the Room of Requirement, taking in everything that had appeared there for the evening. It definately looked like it was going to be an interesting party.
"Nice music." He nodded his head slightly to the beat, settling himself almost instantly on a pile of cushions and reclining lazily. "How many's coming?"
Danny went over and dragged Remy up off the cushions. "You have to see this, it's brilliant!" He was like a puppy. He pulled at Remy again. "It's a phonograph, and all these records, it's perfect. Look!"
The silly boy was going to be showing them to everyone, it seemed.
Penelope stumbled in the room after making sure that no one saw her come in. She took a moment to look around, quite amazed how perfect everything look.
Penelope saw Danny pulling at Remy. It was a funny maybe even cute sight to see. She gave the birthday boy a grin and exclaimed happily, "¡Feliz Cumpleaño!"
Daciana wandered into the Room of Requirement and instantly regretted it. She had no idea why she had decided to come to the party, as she really only knew (as in had spoken to) two people who were there. Can I feign temporary insanity, dump this unwanted bottle, and get out of here before anyone notices? she thought, looking down at the bottle of elfwine her mother had sent her and that she had no intention of drinking alone.
She looked around before deciding to just go with the flow, and said to no one in particular, "Who wants elfwine?"
Daciana handed over the bottle, a smile gracing her face. "Well, then I guess you must be Danny. And as the birthday boy, may you enjoy your elfwine and enjoy it well," she said.
Jelly bounced in with a loaded tray in her arms and a conspicuously tinkling knapsack over one shoulder. “I come carting quiche! Yo, jovial juvenile, where do you want the food and,” she set down the tray and opened up her bag, “same question for the wine, vermouth, and what will soon be a glorious batch of mint juleps.”
Spying an empty table, Jelly immediately began unloading a madwoman’s laboratory worth of suspiciously tempting wealth of bottles, packaged ingredients, and one veteran looking mini-cauldron. Hands busily uncorking and unscrewing, she looked up at Danny. “You’re not allergic to anything Italian, are you?"
"Jelly!" Remys face lit up at her entrance and he headed over, a full glass of rum in his other hand for her. He eyed the bottles, packages and cauldron with a wicked gleam in his eye. "What treats are you whipping up for us?"
Bri giggled at Danny's reaction to Hannah's declaration of love for The Ramones and had a look around. She saw a few familiar faces: Rowan, that girl Patrick had kept looking at in Charms - Andra was her name, she thought - and, of course, the birthday boy himself. Grinning, Bri made her way over to Danny to wish him a happy birthday and deliver her gift to him (a special brew of butterbeer and euphoria that she had made earlier).
Danny hugged Bri. "I still miss you in Potions," he said. "Everyone else thinks I'm a know-it-all." He took her gift with a smile. "Is this what I think it is?" His eyes sparkled.

"Yeah, I was just thinking you didn't really strike me as a Hufflepuff," she replied with a smile. "Funny."
