My shoulder hurts.
I decided I shall write an entry while I'm waiting for the clothes to dry.
For the first time in three weeks, I'm actually not playing for the early service! I do enjoy the money, but I enjoy the sleep, also.
Thursday night, I went out with Doug, his family, and his girlfriend for his birthday. We went to some nasty Texas restaurant. Bleck. We had fun, though. It was pretty awkward being with him and his girlfriend the entire time... but you know.
Friday, I didn't do much of anything. I decided my room needed some new pictures, so I bought some new picture frames from Dollar General and printed out some pictures. My printer decided to act like a retard, but I made it though it. I'm really glad I got new picture frames. The old ones I had were nasty ones my mom bought when they first got the house. They were old and pink and crap. Bleck.
I also mailed all of my Northern California Flute Camp stuff off. Can you believe I actually did that on time? Hmph.
After all of that, Elaine and I went to Avery's Graduation party. It was loads of fun. We mostly jumped on the trampoline and took pictures of ourselves while in the air. What losers.
Today, I woke up just in time to get ready for my recital at 2:00 at LSU... It was the Winner's Recital, and it went well. I played the Khatchaturian. We got to use the Schimmel and that made my day. That piano is a beast. I love it.
So yesterday, when I was rearranging some pictures on my wall, I was on top of my desk nailing something and I fell into my chair and onto the floor. I landed on my left side and kind of hurt my wrist. It's alright, but my shoulder was hurting a lot today and it hurt to play. I'll live. Just thought that was kind of funny.
So I need about two more pairs of shorts. I could use more than that. Thanks to the lack of washing machines at NCFC, I have to pack 10 outfits of clothing. Hmph. I do not have 10 outfits... Before I went shopping two days in a row, I had 4 pairs of pants (3 of which I actually liked), and no good shirts (just t-shirts). I don't really have a problem wearing t-shirts, though. NOW, I have 5 pairs of pants, 3 pairs of shorts, and 4 good shirts. I'd say that's quite an accomplishment for me. I even found an outfit for NCFC and NSU's honor band. Girls have to wear a skirt/dress for both. Lossahs.
