Some stuff...
So yeah, I finally got around to buy a Tablet... and I didn't save my money when I did so... T_T I got a Intuos3 A5... But damn, it's sweet to use and in about 5 minutes I did a sketch cooler than the Megaman X picture I spent nearly two hours on yesterday. Blah. As of yet, I haven't gone beyond sketch on any picture, but considering this is the first day I'm using it, it'll have to be overlooked. I'm still getting to learn it.
While I was getting the tablet I happened to see that Nintendogs was out, complete with a colored DS of your choice. I... couldn't resist the temptation and got for myself a Pink (yes, you read right, pink) DS, a Nintendogs : Dachshund & Friends, Castlevania : Dawn of Sorrows and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, for those long, long trips. All in all it cost me about $550, but luckily I'm able to afford it... I just have to live on scraps of bread and... yeah.
One thing I noticed about Nintendogs is how SPELLBINDING it is. I tried playing with one of the puppies at the Kennel and I actually started cooing and talking to it... ON THE SUBWAY! Coming from a dog-family, I'm pretty sure it has a lot to do with that... :( I hope.
A friend of mine dropped by a little earlier, picking up some stuff, and saw my recent purchase. He exclaimed directly that I should lend Castlevania to him, since I'd borrowed so many PS2 games from him, and since the tablet and Nintendogs will be keeping me busy for a while, who was I to refuse?
That's about all I can think of for today really, going to make a small "cheat-sheet" in HTML for the class I'm helping out at (4th graders, I'm spending a week with them as part of my education)
