Went to NJ and then NYC last weekend. Awesome wedding, then fun after party, and after after party. Saw adereth briefly.
Was the first time I had been to NYC in many years. It was different than I remembered. It's odd how unfamiliarity with an area and time distorts things in your heads. The burroughs were more spread apart and larger than I remember. And the roads around downtown were more congested than I remember.
In any case, didn't even make it in much of anywhere, so I still feel like I didn't really get my complete New York experience in... Wanted to visit the old WTC site, walk around a bit, etc. Sort've debating driving on down again on Sat. or Sun. night for a day or two. We'll see...
