I used to tell myself, "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels," in order to encourage myself to refrain from eating any number of delicious foods: white bread, red meat, chocolate or candy or dessert, cereals, ranch dressing, butter, anything fried (even my favorite chicken fried steak), pasta, jelly, peanut butter.
Tonight was different. I looked in the freezer and thought, "you know, rainbow sherbet tastes better than thin feels." And I had a bowl. And it was good.
I guess Italy changed the way I saw food. Now I try to enjoy food rather than battle it.
I dare to say my body is "slim/slender" on myspace.
