Here is my advice...
I think you must remember that we all sin, and God forgives us of that. People do not need to see that Christians are perfect in every way. They need to understand that Christians make mistakes too, and they have things to work on, but God helps them through all that. As a pastor on our campus said: "The Church is not to be a museum for plaster saints, but a hospital for sinners." The reason I respond this way is because your main focus in your comment seems to be of what OTHERS think of US. However, if you are truely concerned with this person's sin, help them through that. "For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace." Romans 6:14 We as Christians do not condone sin, but we are aware of the fact that it is present. Instead of jamming what God has told us down the person's throat, tell the person what God has done for us .
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners - of whom I am the worst. 1 Timothy 1:15

That's my problem. The person needs to repent. I know a sin is a sin is a sin, but we repent for the sins we commit and the ones we don't know we commit. This person isn't repenting.
