Daiki is looking herself in the mirror. She dresses up beautifully today to meet someone she never knows before. She’s wearing a soft pink dress and her hair is curl neatly too. She touches the mirror then look at her feet. She knows this day will come that her parent will engaged her with someone. Daiki hopes this person is a good guy so she won’t regret marrying him.
“Honey~ are you ready?” her mom appears from the door. Daiki’s still looking at the mirror when her mom approaches her.
“Mom… are you sure it’ll be fine?” Daiki asks, looking at her mom from the mirror.
“I’m sure honey~ I was like you too when I will meet your dad. And you see us now, right? We live happily with you” her mom couraging her by caressing her shoulders. Their family have this kind of tradition from generation to generation. The girl should marry at the age of 25 while the boy is 26. And they can’t choose who they’ll marry by themselves, it’s their family who decide it.
“Let’s go?” asks her mom, smiling. Daiki nods and force a smile to. She follows her mom to the living room, where her dad waiting for her.
“Are you ready to meet your prince, my little princess?” her dad smiles as he holds her hand. Daiki smiles to her dad and follow her parents to the car.

Yuya and his parents are waiting for his soon to be wife in an elite restaurant. They booked a seat which is far from other. Yuya is looking at her photo on his lap. She’s beautiful with big eyes and milky skin. And Yuya loves her smile, it makes him relax when he sees that smile.
“She’s beautiful, right?” whispers his dad, which makes Yuya almost jump.
“Y… yes… she’s beautiful dad” replies Yuya.
“Ah! They’re here!” says his mom. They stand from their seat and greet the girl’s family.
“I’m sorry for waiting” her dad bows many times.
“It’s fine Arioka-san, we just arrived though” says his dad then they’re shaking head.
“This is our son, Yuya” says his mom. Yuya bows and smiles shyly.
“And this is our daughter, Daiki” says her mom, Daiki bows too.
Yuya keep looking at Daiki while smiling. He can’t take his eyes off her since she saw here. Daiki’s shy because Yuya keep watching her so she’s looking down to hide her face. When their parents ask them to shake hands, Yuya doesn’t wanna let go of Daiki’s hand until his parents asked him to stop it. Yuya realizes how stupid he’s and bow many times to Daiki’s family. He doesn’t want her family to think he’s weird. He just stunned when he feels something different from their skinship. Something he never feels before.
“Let’s sit~” says Yuya’s mom. They sit and choose the menu for their dinner.
When they’re eating, their moms can’t stop to talk anything about them, even the embarrassing things. Yuya and Daiki doesn’t say any single word. They only nod and agreeing what their mom said. Their dads realize the odd atmosphere around them so they use their plan.
“Yuya, why don’t you bring Daichan to see the park there? I heard this restaurant has a romantic park” suggests his dad.
“I heard it too. They said you can see the moon reflection from the pool. You should see it!” adds her dad. Yuya doubts to bring Daiki there at first but his mom encourage him.
“Would you go to the park with me, Daiki-san?” asks Yuya, reaching his hand to Daiki. Daiki doesn’t know why but she’s happy with how Yuya treats him.
“Absolutely~” she gladly accepts Yuya’s offer and walk with him to the park. Her parents smile as they see their children backs who are walking to the park. They really hope that this engagement will work to them too.
They sit on the bench beside the pool. The moon really looks so beautiful there. Then there’s silent from both of them. None of them dare to speak first for some minutes until Yuya gathers his courage to speak.
“The moon looks really beautiful, right?” he says but he feels stupid with what he just said.
“Un… It’s…” Daiki replied awkwardly.
“What do you think about this?” asks Yuya.
“Ehm? About what?” Daiki turns her face to her.
“About this engagement… do you feel uneasy?” asks Yuya again.
“It’s a lie if I say no but after I saw you, I feel kinda relax” Daiki answers honestly but her gaze is on the pool.
“You feel relax when you saw me?” Yuya asks again, somehow he feels shy and happy.
“Yes. You look like a good guy” Daiki says.
“Eh? Seriously? Usually people say I’m a bad guy when they see my face” says Yuya. Daiki giggles, Yuya feels his heart stop when he hears Daiki’s voice.
“I don’t judge someone by their looks but by their behaviour. I think a bad guy won’t be so polite like you” Daiki answers honestly, making Yuya blushes.
“Thank you so much” Yuya smiles, Daiki smiles back to him. By that time, Yuya is sure that Daiki is his destiny.

“How?” asks his mom when they back to the seat.
“Have you talked about each other more?” asks her mom.
“We have” answer Daiki
“So… do you accept it?” asks his dad.
“I accept it that” answer Yuya confidently.
“How about you Daiki?” asks her dad.
“Me too dad” answers Daiki. Their parents sigh happily.
“Let’s cheers” Yuya’s dad takes his glass to ask them to cheers.
“Lets” says Daiki’s dad. They raise their glasses together.
“Cheers!”

“Are you sure he’s a good guy, Daiki?” asks Ryo, one of her friend when they’re gathering in Daiki’s room
“I’m sure Ryo-chan. He’s so polite and he treated me like a princess” Daiki smiles while imagining last night.
“What did you do with him?” asks Yuri but she focus on her book.
“What do you mean?” Daiki raises her eyebrow.
“Did he hugged you, kissed you, or…”
“We didn’t do anything!” Daiki cuts Yuri words.
“If you think he’s a good guy then make sure you’ll be happy with him, Daiki. Like me and Kou~” says Kei, one of them who already married a year ago, his surname is Yabu now.
“I’m sure he can make me happy, Kei~” Daiki smiles.
“We’ll hurt him if he ever hurt you Daiki, don’t worry~” says Ryo. Daiki smiles widely and hugs her friends. She feels so happy to have best friends like them.

“She’s cute but you don’t suit with her” Hikaru laughs when Yuya shows him Daiki’s photo. Yuya grabs Daiki’s photo back from Hikaru.
“Shut up Hikaru. I know she’s my destiny!” says Yuya angrily.
“But she’s too cute to be with you, right Yuto?” Hikaru asks to Yuto who’s drinking his coffee.
“Ah? Really? I think she suits Yuya” answer Yuto. Hikaru groans, Yuya smiles mockingly to him.
“But you never date someone before. She won’t be happy because you’re not romantic” adds Hikaru.
“It’s me who knows I’m romantic or not and not you, Hikaru! She’ll be happy with me. I swear to myself I’ll make her happy and won’t regret to marry me!” says Yuya proudly. Hikaru rolls his eyes and Yuto chuckles seeing their stupid friend’s action.
“Up to you then” says Hikaru.
