So to update on my last entry, I'm not getting a B after all! Yay. At least I don't think so. I got an A on my last speech, at any rate, so I'm very happy about that, and I just got my debate over with the other day so now I only have one more speech and my final exam and then no more Speech!
Last night, we had a roommate night. Much needed. It's literally been months since all of my roommates were last under the same roof at the same time. so, Chelsey came back from FoCo and everything worked out really nicely. We just kinda sat around and talked for the most part, made Chocolate Fondue (so good!) and Brooke decided that we needed to play a prank on Kara tonight. (This is all the shortened version, by the way).
Don't ask me how, but it evolved from just masking-taping her front door to dressing up in stupid outfits and challenging her to a dance off. We went over to her house, but no one was home, so we went to Ryan's house and woke him up. We danced to that song "You're Unbelievable!" --I don't know if that's the actual title to the song, but those are pretty much the only words to the song-- And some drunk people from a party two houses down started watching us. K, well one thing led to another and we ended up going to their kegger and dancing for their party. I'm dead serious. I have to admit, I chickened out so I ended up just videotaping the others, but nevertheless, I was still wearing underwear outside of my pants. We had some interesting conversations:
"You guys should be named 'UnbeLEAVEable' because you're leaving! You could have like, 'unbe' in lower case letters, 'leave' in big capital letters, then 'able' in lower case letters."
"You girls should give me your phone numbers so you can dance at my parties."
"Seriously, in like bikinis and short skirts and make-up, you could totally do the exact same thing"
Hmmm...maybe not. Well, we were all totally in character, I kid you not. We milked these people for all they were worth, it was hilarious. I don't know if they were just to drunk to notice, or really good at playing along, but they really seemed to fall for it. We're turning it into a mockumentary, ala "Waiting for Guffman" or "Best in Show" style. It'll be good.
Tonight, I might go swing-dancing. Meh. I'm not much for that, but it might be fun. I'm wondering if I should invite anyone because I think Brooke's bringing Trevor and Michelle's bringing Ryan.
And tomorrow, we're supposed to go to WaterWorld. Scares me a little, because I almost drowned in the wave pool the last time I was there. But it's been 10 years since I last went, I can't deprive myself forever. I'm just praying for good weather.
