Ahh! My hipflexer!!!

I just got back from Utah! It was fun. It really was. One wouldn't think it would be, but it was. Seeing Lindsey was so much better than I thought it would be. She's really changed a lot for the better, a lot more aware of herself and happier and less consumed with her weight. And of course, she lost like 15 pounds and looks really great.

So we spent a loooooootttt of time talking and catching up. I'm really glad I came with Michelle cuz she was such a good sport about it. It was definitely the invasion of the Mormons over there, but it was really interesting learning all about their doctrine. I think that'll help me in the future, to know about all these different religions, and be able to compare and contrast against my own faith.

We went to the Testaments at the Temple Square in Salt Lake, which was really interesting. Some Sister Missionaries were kinda givin me the spooks but whatev.

And Saturday, we went on a hike that was only supposed to be less than 2 hours there and back and turned into 4! We went to the hot springs in Spanish Fork and I guess we just didn't see them or went the wrong way because we definitely passed them. It sucked, let me tell you, because the way to and past the hot springs was completely down hill, so you can just imagine walking 2 hours straight up hill when you are definitely not an avid hiker. That was the only time Lindsey was annoying me because she kept telling Michelle and me to hurry up. Michelle's asthma was kicking in and I had just pulled a muscle or a tendon or something in my inner thigh (Lindsey said it was my "hipflexer") and it hurt like no other to walk on.

By the time we got to the hot springs, they were packed so we hardly felt motivated anymore. We just dipped our feet in, you know, passed a few naked people along the way. Is it just me, or is that really inconsiderate? I mean, obviously, you aren't going to want to share a hotspring with a naked girl, or maybe I'm just that prude. But that was really annoying.

Anyway, we put our shoes back on and still had a good hour to go. I was in pain. But it's not like I could have given up, you know. By the time we still had about a 1/4 mile, Lindsey was acting as my crutch cuz my "hipflexer" was in so much pain I couldn't walk anymore.

Well, I could go on forever, but I'm not going to. I have soooo much stuff to do before tomorrow.
