Hey there, Detroit-area HP friends! I'm going to be in Detroit for a work meeting from June 27 - 30. I'll be staying downtown at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, apparently right across the river from that mysterious wonderland to the north, Canadensia. (crowd noise here

Ooooh! I work M-W-Th but have T-Fr off.( If I knew far enough in advance I could probably snag a day off, but it depends what the vacation schedule is like) I don't live in Detroit if there was a meet-up I'd be willing to drive down. (Plus my daughter lives in the metro area so I could snag a free bed for myself at her house either the day before or day after if need be.) Put me on the list and let me know if anyone is interested. (Obviously I'd prefer the Tuesday or Friday dates, but I could also probably switch days... work Tuesday and take Wednesday off).

Actually, I misspoke, forgetting that I have a meeting-before-the-meeting, which will take up all of my Wed June 26th. So if I got there early enough in the day on Tues June 25th, we could totally hang out!! I would love to meet you in person!

Did the Cyprus Taverna reopen? It closed in recent years, along with family favorite New Hellas Cafe. :(
