Ah, I take it that you're new here?

We're basically lab rats brought to a city which defies the law of time and space. Their main entertainment is witnessing us surviving in a post-apocalyptic environment, I've heard.

I've only noticed that I'm not quite the same as I was before I got here. It's rather invasive.

That's the power of the chip, I suppose; it suppresses whatever power a person had possessed before. As I'm none more than a law student, it doesn't affect me.

I've heard little about it the chip, but it is possible to remove it.

Yes. I've heard reports of a severe flu for a good week or so.

Do you plan on having it removed?

No, no, not quite. I know removing things in your neck can be painful. Why, I've had my own spine removed.
