56. all of paddy's buttons got pushed.

[This is after the water's subsided. Paddy's just snapped. All those issues of his were never going to end well. You won't get much of an answer out of him and he'll be like this until someone comes and gets him. That is, curled up in the corner of his cell, drenched and quietly singing to himself, continually pressing buttons on his communicator for light.

Good news is: He's calmed down. Bad news is: he's completely lost it. He's singing This. Not to cheer him up, or to depress the rest of you, but to remind him of the real world and his daughter because he has a fistful of daughter-issues and it makes him feel a bit better.]

Tis the last rose of summer
Left blooming alone;
All her lovely companions
Are [static]
No flower of her kindred,
[Static],
To give sigh for sigh.

I'll not leave thee, thou lone one!
[static]
Since the lovely are sleeping,
Go, sleep thou with them.
Thus kindly I scatter,
[static]
Where thy mates of the garden
Lie scentless and dead.

[there's a massive, manly sniffle here, because he's cold, wet, upset and just realised his communicator's on. He turns it off, but if you're near him, he's probably gone back to the top. And yes, he can sing.]

hallucinating is my least favourite thin, this is one fucked prison alright, don't need no introspection, you can get a subscription to my issues, now paddy's upset, paddy has a conscience when it suits him, its the irish in me, family's thicker than murder, sometimes paddy feels guilt
