(no subject)
I was a complete idiot yesterday at work - I kept forgetting where things were kept & dropping things. Argh. I've worked out why but the boss just kept laughing at me all day!
The rest.
I worked from home on Wednesday (and will be every Wed this month) on the website. I made a yum soup on Thursday before I went to Ikea. Both days last week, it was pretty quiet which was a nice change. Customers seem to be getting the hang of how the warehouse works & everything. I managed to get the entire weekend off work so G & I spent saturday going to shops, having lunch in East Freo, buying birthday presents & then we had Uncle Billys for dinner.
We tidied up the house on Sunday & sorted out things to go to the Salvos & what to throw away or sell. Off to Carine to buy groceries & then to my parents' place where I cooked Osso Bucco for the first time ever & it was delicious! Definitely a recipe to cook again in Winter.
Good - I received a 'Tack' (it means 'Thanks' in Swedish) from the guys' in the Call Centre, for always helping them when they call downstairs which was really cool! It's nice to think we're being appreciated by someone!
Bad - A woman & I were lifting a wardrobe down when she suddenly exclaimed 'Ooh, that's heavy!' & preceded to LET GO of the box. So now I have a great big purple bruise on my left knee.
Good - Adie & Wayne had a boy named Callum & he's really cute.
Bad - G's going to Sydney next week which isn't really bad... it's just bad because I'm not going too!!
Good - I bought a pair of EcoSneaks which are made out of old tyres! Ikea has started to bring in rugs that are eco-friendly & we finally have nice coloured recycled paper & envelopes at my other work!
Bad - I am so very tired & can't shake this nauseous headache I've had for 3 days.
Good - We're putting all the money I've been saving into paying off the Wedding credit card before I start saving again for the deposit; the interest will kill us otherwise & we'll never get anywhere!
Bad - We're still not sure what's going on with G's sister as she's been told one thing & then another. Hopefully, they'll work it out soon.
Good - I get to work from home again tomorrow (damn.. website) & I get THREE days off in a row this weekend!
