I've been sent to the designated swine clinic and paid freaking S$40. AND GUESS WHAT. The doctor didn't run the swine test on me because apparently, I "do not have enough symptoms". Gosh. I really wished there was better coordination between the school and that stupid clinic. And the doctor looked at me like I was mad in my N95 mask because he himself was only in an ordinary surgical mask. But whatever. I'd rather reinforce the stereotype of a kiasu Singaporean than get quarantined because some stupid person sneezed into my face.
I'm recovering well and thanks to all those who were worried about me :) Just feeling rather phlegmy and blocked. But I absolutely dig the fear in people's faces when I cough in the train. Gosh I'm so horrid right. Haha.
I think after this trip, I'd really get addicted to travelling. I see something new every day and being in a whole new country (even though it's super similar to singapore) is extremely refreshing. I've made some pretty great friends. Their fashion is a lot better and their guys are brutally hot. If my friends and family live in HK, I really don't mind residing here PERMANENTLY. :D
Dimsum is just DAMN CHEAP. Although all our dimsum sessions leave me feeling pregnant, it's just $10-ish. GOODNESS. All 12 of us ordered like there's no tomorrow seriously. To the extent that we cant even fit all the food into one single photo!
And I really think when I go back to NUS, I can totally run from central library to LT 11 up and down the stairs without panting and in record time. The walking I'm doing here is MAD. Apart from shopping and the stupid mountaineous terrain of our campus, I went to Lamma Island 2 days ago and I really thought that's where I was going to die. Especially with my phlegm choking my respiratory system. Can't breathe, sun is blazing hot and I had a HAT LINE. It's honestly the most uncool tan line to have. Haha. But well, still had fun. :)
