(no subject)
here is my first post in a while. i can't believe it's the end of August already, and school's just around the corner. this summer has flown by, and it's been absolutely wonderful. definitely the most enjoyable summer break so far. and, although i have the daunting task of a huge load of reading in front of me, i'm glad i took a good break. i really needed it.
what have i been up to since my last post? well, i've started my road lessons. this morning was actually my second. the instructor was young, very cool. we talked about army tanks for a good portion of the time. i'm doing well, although a little trouble backing up in a perfectly straight line. license at the end of September. maybe the 24th? not sure exactly. i can't wait to have my license, although i desperately need a job for the school year. i really hope that there will be some hiring for the fall, or else i won't be able to pay.
i'm in the process of reading Back Bay for history. it reads like a mystery, enthralling plot line and all. the colonial sex scenes are an added bonus.
by the way, who else is doing freshman orientation?
well anyways, i'll end this quick- my grandmother just walked through the door. i really hope that you guys have had a great summer. it's really important to actually get out and enjoy your life every once in a while..
