Turns out I have one more day off...
This past weekend (plus Friday of last week), I had approved vacation time from my boss. Yesterday, I awoke, a little bummed, thinking that I had to report for work the next day.
Because, like for most people, vacations have a way of going by too fast.
But when I called in for the coming week's schedule (every workweek starts on Mondays), it turned out that I have this Monday off (which is now today). Woohoo! So yeah, I was very happy.
On Saturday, I went up to Kennesaw to see family. Had a great time, got to see the house that my younger brother and sister's renting from Mom and my step-dad. Really nice house, too. Yesterday, did some shopping...went to Joanne's Craft Supply. This store is AMAZING. Better selection than Michael's. Too bad, there's no Joanne's by me; there is a Michael's, though, so I just make do with that. So that's why whenever I visit family, I try to spend as much time as I can in that store.
So now, I'm just hanging out, just relaxing. And also happy, knowing tonight as I go to bed, I can go back to work tomorrow feeling refreshed and recharged. :)
