Currently Watching
I love Rizzoli & Isles, and am hard broken about the loss of Lee Thompson Young. The show is smart (though at times it is easy to predict who the bad guy is), funny, respectful, and well balanced (strong female and male characters).
Under The Dome: Sad to see that it was picked up for another season.... not that I don't like the show, but I was hoping that it would be a strong 1 season show like Harper's Island (Loved that show!). So yeah, it started of strong and I had high expectations until it was picked up for another season. I'm still watching, 'cause so far it's still good. But don't know how long it will take before the show turns boring because they feel they have to drag the story out. I like suspense but things need to be resolved as well.
I watch The Walking Dead with my mom, which is slow going because usually when I'm at my parents we choose to watch something we all like. We're about halfway through season 2, and every time we watch I'm still on the edge of my seat. I'm not really invested in any of the characters, but the story as a whole and the gruesome scenes rock!
Started watching The Newsroom, and surprisingly got caught up in the drama. I'm almost done with season 1, and will watch season 2 even though it's said to be not as good as season 1.
Veronica Mars... still didn't finish watching season 3, but only because I don't want it to end!!! Hope to have a release date of the Veronica Mars movie before I finish watching the last season, so that I know how long I have to wait.
Fall Season!
Season 9 of Supernatural: Wow! Yes, I'm still excited! True, there have been some spots where we had a couple episodes in a row where things were a bit rough, but overall the seasons are still strong, Dean is still awesome, and every time they do think of new things. This is one of the very few shows where I am invested in a character, and this combined with cool standalone episodes and an engaging arch, I'm hooked!
I miss Arrow! Can't wait to get it back! I like the characters, they're a good match together, though I do not have a specific character I like; it's really the group that makes it work. It's exciting and fun with an interesting story.
Dr. Who... Can't wait till November, I'm positive that the 50th anniversary episode will be spectacular. That said, I'm sad about December. I liked Dr #9, loved #10, and love #11. Earlier this week I learned by accident who #12 will be; I'm furious! How can they take an actor who has played another character in the same universe?!? Let me know when #13 comes along.
I watch Hawaii 5-0 mainly because my sister watches it. It's alright; there are some good standalone episodes, but the arch is uninteresting to me.
I've got an opening in my schedule. Know of a good show I might enjoy?
