I met Christian Kane!!!

Finally, my chance to meet Chris! I had no class today and Orlando is only a 90 minute drive.
It was great! The radio station employees were very friendly and allowed us to wait inside. There were a total of about 15 fans, and we had a good time chatting while waiting for Chris.
Chris first arrived at 10:25. Surprisingly on time for once, according to Rocco, who is the radio promo rep that’s traveling with Chris this week; I think he was half kidding. Chris walked up to us, said hi, and then told us that he had to go in and do his thing (honestly, I don’t know what he did at the station today; if it was a meeting or if he had an interview, did anyone listen?). He then asked if we could wait for him; he would have time for us then. If that wasn’t sweet enough, he actually apologized for making us wait. Awww!
We waited 30 minutes, and then Chris came back out. First he talked to the whole group for a few minutes, and he then took a minute with every one of us to take a picture, talk, and sign something if we wanted. No one asked for a hug and usually I don’t want to stand out, but I was like ‘fuck that!’ and went and asked for a hug.
It was a really nice hug!
Before that I had him sign my ‘Hide’ DVD and we talked a bit about the movie, and I made sure to mention that I loved both his acting career and his music (some people there only knew him from Leverage) and I thanked him for coming out to meet us.
Chris was sweet, unpresumptuous, and humble. He has gorgeous blue eyes, he had his hair tied back and a baseball cap on L but said that it took too much time when we mentioned we like it loose and curly. When he’s talking with you, he’s focused on you and actually seems to listen, and he loves his work (was happy to talk about Hide; he loved filming it, even though putting on the tattoos every time took forever)
Oh, and did I mention that he felt great!
Also, I took a moment to just listen to Chris’ voice as he was talking to someone else. I love his voice! I could listen to it forever!
Afterwards, Chris thanked us all for coming out, and then he had to leave.
It was a great morning! I’m happy that I went.
Now I just need to see KANE play in the near future.
