So yeah, I went to the Celine Dion concert last night. I was so happy. Her opening act was crap, in my opinion. He was trying to be this Robin Williams singer type person. I didn't find him all that funny, but again, that's me. This being my first concert and it being Celine Dion just made the night perfect. And I got to spend it with a very good friend of mine. Odd thing happened during the concert though. As Celine Dion was singing my favorite song ("It's all coming back to me") I had something running down my cheek. And then I realized, it was a tear. Damnit, I'm leaking (aka crying). I have become one of those fairies that I swore I would never be... one that cries when seeing his favorite singer. Grr. Strange though, I never knew what it was like to cry because of being so happy. Weird sensation. It probably didn't help the fact that I haven't taken any pills to help my winter depression in over a week. Grr. All in all, it was a great night. I even saw some celebrity look alikes. One of the guys that we had to show that we weren't carrying any weapons or whatever looked like Herman Munster. He was really tall and had that real deep voice like he did. Also, one of her guitarists looked a lot like Mr. Bean. Cracked me up. One thing that happened that just pissed me off and still does is the wife of a guy Junior knows from work I think. We were talking after the concert and she said something to the effect of her husband would have brought Junior's stuff to the concert except that he drove his "gay car" there. She was also going on about how he's starting to look gay and all this other shit. Yeah, Junior could tell I was pissed and after she spat out these pearls of nutcaseness I just said, "On that note I gotta go find my ride. Good bye." and left. Stupid bitch. I text Junior telling him that I didn't care for her at all. But yeah, it was an awesome night and one that I will remember forever. I also bought her new CD today thanks to money from my grandpa for Christmas. YAY! I can relive the concert. Later all :-)
