Today I realized my motivation to workout is at an all time low. This is mostly because of, possibly, my worst character trait: how quickly I get bored and how much I hate being bored. I was on the treadmill the other day doing a 25 minute run and almost stopped 3 times. I wasn’t tired or hurt or anything…I was bored to tears. Running outside fights this to an extent but there’s been so much snow and the sidewalks aren’t clear (and the streets unplowed after this 15 in storm).
Another factor is that I need to change my workouts for plateus and boredom, but I can’t even be motivated to research that shit more
What do you guys do to keep motivation up? How do you fight boredom?
