Verse of the Day - Weakness
Luke 1:37
For pnothing will be impossible with God.”
2 Corinthians 12:9
9 But he said to me, j“My grace is sufficient for you, for kmy power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that lthe power of Christ may rest upon me.
Life likes to throw situations at me that make me feel weak and unequipped to deal. My first thought is often, "Why Me?" There has got to be someone, probably a thousand someones, who could do this better than me and with little effort or stress. But I guess that is the point. God uses our weakness to show us we need Him. Then, He takes that same weakness and does great things through you. But it's not you, its Gods power working through you. Which is addictive! I always want more of God's power in my life. So I must be willing to face unexpected, difficult, stressful situations and my own weakness, and then let God work the impossible through me.
