I really wasn't expecting the snow. We've had a very dry winter here thus far, and I figured we'd continue to have a very dry winter until, say, St. Patrick's Day, at which point the heavens would open up and we'd be buried under a few feet of snow. And since I'd be in Florida at that point, I wouldn't really care.
I mean, I had plans for this week, to do some shopping and run errands. Not firm plans, and I probably would have ended up grunging around the house anyway, but still. And really, I suppose I ought to be spending Reading Week actually reading, especially since I have so much writing to do as well.
So, new plan for today. I shall put on jammies and fuzzy socks, and crawl back into bed with the five furry snoozing cats (the sixth is hiding under the bench on the landing where a hot air register blows directly into her fur), and read the newest McKillip novel, looking up every now and then to watch the snow fall.
Yup, excellent plan.
