Fake Aunt Chrissie strikes again! / 3-day weekend
Reverse those subjects, though, so I can tell the story in order. Sheena (BFF of ten years) and I are heading out to DC in the morning to see a friend from college we've only seen twice since we graduated in '07. I sent her a text this morning saying I was stopping by Target on the way home from work and asked if she needed anything specific. She said yeah, actually, she needed a lotion that had "that collagen stuff" for tightening skin in it and something in a cocoa butter if possible. I'm like, hmm, that sounds suspicious, but let it go, because yes, while she told me last week there was a possibility she was preggers and she'd let me know this week, I didn't think she would tell me in a weirdo way like that.
Then I spent all day thinking, well, maybe she would.
Went to Meijer with my mom and I'm looking through the entire effing lotion for something that has both cocoa butter and collagen, not even looking at brands or anything, just the ingredients. Finally find one - ah ha! - and my eyes move up to the label and it's the pregnancy and motherhood lotion. "That little shit!" My mom's like, she wouldn't tell you like that, would she?" and I said, "Oh, yes, she would." Texted her and told her that was the only lotion with both, and ended the text with a ... Got a response as we were getting in the car that said "Perfect. :o) Aunt chrissie." And I literally screamed in the parking lot and jumped up and down and then called her and called her a brat.
Anyhoo. Basically, I'm super excited and get a little fake niece or nephew for a birthday present in May next year.
