Thanksgiving....

Had a really really really good Thanksgiving actually. It's interesting because we've done Turkeyday at my brother's house before when he was married to he who shall not be named, and in 15 years she really barely went to any form of effort to really be part of the family. It's odd in some ways because their marriage may not have been either's first choice but there was a separation there, that over 15 years never really went away.

Megan? Kind of feels like she was always in the family and we just re-discovered her. So it was Steve's kids, Megan's kids, my mother, my friend Shane who'd been abandoned by his folk and myself. It really was great great fun, and of course there was great food.

We also played a game called Scattergories, which has been around for awhile and which I'd never played before. Apparently, I was born to play this game... an example We had to select a language starting with E.. English, Egyptian, maybe 'Espanol' if we're allowing foreign words... my first instinct was Etruscan.

As Megan's daughter Lexie said.. I'm a nerd.

Anyway.... watching a few episodes of Blue Planet that my TiVo thought I might like, and stumbling along on my Guitar a bit (I'm pretty comfortable with two strings, and having no real trouble with Ode to Joy (which if really simple I guess) and 5 or 6 chords, now it's time for String 3 :)).
