Summary: Anniversary celebration with friends and family. Surprise gifts for each other.
a/n: So this is my first SS501 fan fiction. I have only written a couple of fics before and they were KAT-TUN fics. Hope it’s not too choppy wrote on my breaks and lunches at work. Also Hyun Joong will always be known to me as Leader, as much as Hyung Joon will always be Baby.
We have been together for two years now. I want to give him a special gift, but what? It’s hard to decide as we all have received many gifts from our fans. What does he really want that he doesn’t already have? What would mean so much to him, what would be unforgettable? This thought ran through 2 different minds, both wanting to bring happiness to the other.

"So did you finally decide what to get Kyu Jong for your anniversary?" Young Saeng asked the leader of their group.
"Yes, I did. I had to ask favors of a lot of people to set it up. Some I don’t even know personally. But I can’t wait to see his face when he sees what I have planned." Hyun Joong replied.
"What can I do to help set this up?"
"If you could call and reserve the restaurant for Saturday between 5pm-9pm, that should work and would be a huge help. I have a list Kyu Jong and I wrote up of guests that we have invited."
"No problem I’ll call right now." Young Saeng smiled, happy to help the couple in setting up their party.
"Thanks, I have some things to check on." He smiled back as he walked out of the room.

"Well do you have your gift for Leader all set?" Jung Min asked Kyu Jong while grabbing himself something to drink.
"Yes, I can’t wait for Saturday, I believe he will be amazed at my gift for him." Kyu Jong smiled in happiness at the thought.
"Congrats, was it hard to decide what to get him?"
"Incredibly, but I was inspired by something he said in an interview." Kyu Jong’s smiled got even brighter.

"Wow it’s crowded in here. Has everyone arrived?" Jung Min questioned Hyun Joong.
"Almost, I have a secret guest coming. I am just waiting for him."
Jung Min looked on as his leaders’ happiest smile formed, the one that is usually only shown to Kyu Jong. Looking around more he realized that his companion was being hailed at by some of his best friends across the crowded restaurant.
"Leader, I believe Jae Joong and TOP are trying to get your attention."
"I better go and check in with them", he muttered as he saw them waving so wildly their arms will definitely hurt the next day.
Walking on Jung Min spied the other half of the couple, Kyu Jong greeting more guests in the room.
"Hey. So everything all set?"
"Just waiting for the surprise guest. Then everything will be ready to go."
"Sounds good. I’ll go check in with the staff about the food," Jung Min said as he thought, How many surprise guests are there going to be?
As Baby had door duty he recognized the new arrival, shocked at why this person was here.
"I am supposed to meet up with Hyun Joong, can you tell him I am here?"
"Sure. I’ll do that." Just as he was about to turn when another guest walked in.
"Hello. I am here to see Kim Kyu Jong. Can you tell him I finally got here." the second guest asked of Baby.
"WOW! Of course please wait here for a moment." then Baby rushed off.
"Hey. So what are you doing here? I haven’t seen you in awhile." the first guest asked the second.
"I am apparently a gift. Seems like you’ve been doing well." the second guest laughed good-naturedly.
"Doin’ good. A gift, huh? Me, too." he replied startled.
"Hyun Joong, your guest is here," Baby called as he walked on in search of Kyu Jong.
"Thanks. I’ll go get him."
"Kyu Jong your guest is here", Baby snickered as he informed the other.
"Thanks."
Spying Hyun Joong on his way over the guest decided to meet him part way thinking that he probably shouldn’t see the other guest right now.
"See you later, Shun."
"Very soon I think, Pi."
Kyu Jong walked up to his surprise guest, "Thank you for helping me out tonight. I really appreciate it. I know Hyun Joong will be amazed and happy to discuss acting and roles with you."
"No problem, I am glad I have this chance also since we played the same character. I rarely have this type of opportunity. It’ll a treat for me also."
"Thanks for coming and being a gift tonight. Kyu Jong has wanted to have a chance to talk to you more. He’ll be so excited and happy. This is extremely nice of you, Yamashita-san."
"I think there will be several surprises and please just call me Yamapi."
With out the other seeing, both Kyu Jong and Hyun Joong signaled Jung Min to start the party.
"Attention! Attention, please! Welcome to the anniversary party of Hyun Joong and Kyu Jong. Thank you all for being able to jion us tonight. Will the couple please come up here to the dais and we can start things off." this was said in bith Korean and Japanese as most guests were a mix of both.
"Kyu Jong, I am amazed and honored that we have come this far together. When the rest of the world is confused by me, you always understand and support me. You were so shy when we first met and yet you have always been so strong. I love you, please always stay by my side." the restaurant filled with the roar of applause after Hyun Joong’s speech toward his love.
"Hyun Joong, you have been mentor, friend and love to me. I am so happy that we are together. With your help, love and encouragement I have changed from my naïve country ways. Even with solo projects you and I are as one always. Thank you." after this the applause was even more deafening.
Jung Min smiled at the couple, "Ok, now we will begin with your gifts for each other and then proceed into dinner followed by the rest of the gifts. Hyun Joong please show your gift for Kyu Jong."
"Kyu Jong you recently mentioned that there is a person you would like to converse with more. He granted me the favor of coming here today. My gift for you is……..Yamapi."
Yamapi stepped up onto the stage and was greeted by Kyu Jong’s happy and yet dumbfounded face. He smiled at him, " Kyu Jong I will wait for you at the table. Let’s get acquainted and have fun."
"Now Kyu Jong it’s your turn." Jung Min said a bit louder to wake the man up from his stupor.
"Ahh, um, oh, oh yes. I was inspired by something you also said recently. It appears that my gift is a person as well. The person who played Hanazawa Rui from the original version of ’Boys Over Flowers’…….Oguri Shun." Kyu Jong was so overjoyed with his loves’ reaction to his gift. Hyun Joong was so overwhelmed he was speechless. Even the crowd was astounded by the couples gifts and love for each other, they stood up and gave a standing ovation.
"I will also wait for you at the table", Oguri Shun smiled sincerely at the other.
After quieting their friends down Jung Min motioned for Hyun Joong and Kyu Jong to the table set up especially for them and their guests.
"Enjoy." he said as he left them alone to check out the food.

As the couple walked hand in hand back to the apartment both were contemplating how the other was not only the perfect partner but knew each other so well by giving the perfect gifts. They had such a brilliant time with their gifts they made time in their schedules to all get together again.
"So what should we do for next year?" Kyu Jong questioned Hyun Joong.
"Let’s not think about that till much later and just enjoy the rest of our night." Leader sighed in contentment.
"I totally agree with you."
Both smiled as they stepped into their home.
