This week has been overwhelming. I had the second part of my Western Civ. test monday, which was the long essay portion. Writing frantically for 50 minutes is not the best stress reducer. So, I thought that was gonna be the most stressful thing this week and I could relax the rest of the way. Not so much. On Tuesday, I realized that I had a big packet to do for walk/jog and an essay for Global Cinema due Thursday. I spent all of wednesday and most of Thursday worrying about/procrastinating those two things. During the drive home from FLCC at 8:00 thursday night I was so mad at myself for procrastinating it for so long. Like, extremely mad at myself. But, there is good news. I "finished" the stuff thursday and handed it in today. The essay was a rough draft and she isn't grading it, which is good because I only wrote about 2 pages of the six pages I was supposed to. So, I'm hoping this weekend is gonna be better than last weekend and I'll get to hang with my friends for some good old fashion talk time.
I had my Global Cinema teacher for English freshman year and she told me today that her class read the "Family Guy" paper. After my initial confusion, I realized she was talking about my comparative essay about Family Guy and The Simpsons. She said that the class applauded it and was laughing most of the way through. So, I thought that was pretty cool. I love it when teachers use my stuff as examples and I love it even more when the students like it, too. I'm pretty proud of that.
I would be remiss if I didn't say "welcome back" to Darkrageofwar, aka Rav, aka the darkness, aka pimpzilla. Ok, so pimpzilla isn't one, but should it be? You decide!
