So I'm in the market for a new phone. Let's just say I'm very disappointed in the performance of my phone after this last update was forced on us. I'm not going to reward Apple for screwing up my iPhone 3G by buying a new iPhone. I'm currently looking at a Samsung Captivate, which uses the new Android technology. If anyone has any suggestions

According to some sources, the latest release fixes the performance isssues on the 3G phones. I don't have one and I don't think Cortney ever upgraded past 3.x so I'm not sure how true those rumours are.
I may wind up leaving because of ATT rather than Apple, though.
