It is 4:15 and I am listening to the new Jay-Z album "Kingdom Come," and waiting on some clothes to finish washing so I can put them in the dryer. Tommorow I have to wake up and go to the airport. I am flying to Texas to visit with my mom's side of the family for Thanksgiving. It is a much needed break from my regular routine. Things have been great though, it is just time for a good vacation.
I feel extremley confident about my music right now. I'm extremely happy I ended up in Canada, and the guys in it too. I have been writing so much lately its nuts. I taught myself piano. And by no means do I think I am badass or anything, but I'm getting there, and am working very hard. I'm eager to be playing live shows again.
I've latched onto alot of good music lately. The new Killers I feel is easily one of the best releases of 06. Every track on the album is amazing in my book. An album that kind of suprised me was the new My Chemical Romance. I was never really into them, I saw an interview with the singer on MTV news and liked what he had to say, so when their new album came out, I thought I would give it a try. It is an awesome album. Although I think I played it out. So I'll have to just listen in small doeses. And the most recent has been this new Jay-Z "Kingdom Come" it is just a solid album. Has alot of chill stuff on it, and has a guest appearance from Chris Martin of Coldplay, which makes it easily my favortie track.
