A. Make a list of 5 things that you can see without getting up.
Big-screen TV
Portable DVD player
Flower-painted night stand holding said TV
Tatami mats
Leverage Season 3 DVDs
B. How many times have you changed your hairstyle in the past five years?
Um, like twice, if you count getting it cut as changing my hairstyle. I have REALLY curly, pouffy hair and it does not get cut that often. I do not enjoy looking like a poodle.
C. What is your favourite article of clothing (that you own) and why?
Probably the green dress I got from Chadwicks about ten years ago and still wear everywhere. It's very long, it's my favorite shade of green, it's got a full, bouncy skirt, it's sleeveless and cool in the summer, I can dress it up or down or pull a sweater over it and wear it in the winter. It's great.
D. What's your favourite cartoon?
I don't know that I have a favorite cartoon. I just don't watch that many cartoons.
E. If you got a tattoo, what would it be of?
Wings coming out of my back. Or possibly a panther on my shoulder/upper arm, especially now that I'm beginning to see some nice definition in that area.
F. What's your favourite mystical creature?
Vampires. Without question. Still hate Twilight, though.
G. What are you thinking about right now?
The fact that I need to get the trash taken out to the curb before I go to bed. Which should be soon, as I've been up for nearly 24 hours now.
H. Write the first word that comes to mind.
Revoluccion.
I. Favorite musician to see in concert.
I haven't managed it yet, but I would love to see Christian Kane in concert. Or you know, see him at all.
J. If you came across $2,000 (or other currency) would you keep it or turn it in?
It would depend on where I found it. Do I have any means of tracking down the possible owner? Did I find it buried in my backyard, or in a bag in a dumpster? The latter, definitely turn it into the police. If I had any inkling that someone was looking for it, or any way of tracking down the owner, absolutely turn it in. Obviously been there a while, like three owners ago and no clue where it came from? Either keep it or donate it to a charity of some sort.
K. What was the last thing that you bought?
Groceries at the commissary. Some for the house, some for the trip.
L. What other countries have you been to (if any)?
Canada, Spain(lived there), England, Ireland, Portugal, Gibraltar (it counts!), Greece (lived there, too), Italy, Korea, Russia, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, China , Japan (live there now), Palau, Singapore. Will be adding New Caledonia and Australia later this year...
M. Do you have a favourite comedian and if yes, who?
Not really.
N. Last book you've read?
I finished Laurell K Hamilton's Divine Misdemeanors sometime last night.
O. What are you doing this weekend?
Getting my hair cut, watching a lot of TV on DVD, take some stuff into the ship, work out, sleep, enjoy not working all weekend.
P. What is your song of choice RIGHT NOW? The one you select when you kick off your playlist in the morning or whenever.
What a Shame by Shinedown. I saw an Eliot vid to this song and fell in love with the music. And it was totally appropriate for the subject matter, too.
Q. Favourite movie of the last six months?
I haven't watched a lot of movies. I've been working a LOT of nights. Probably X-Men First Class
R. Favourite season?
Spring. Before it gets too hot (both Japan and Illinois are REALLY humid) but leaving off the cold weather, when I can go out in shorts or jeans and a sleeveless top and not be too hot or cold. Got the entire rest of the year stretching out before me, too.
S. Which part of this year are you looking forward to the most?
I plan to spend my birthday in Hawai'i this year with some good friends of mine.
T. Best thing this year so far?
Getting my PRD changed so that I will be leaving Japan in November, rather than having to wait until next November. Still don't know where I'll be going next, though I am dearly wishing and hoping to get orders to England.
