:D Happy to pimp this stuff, because it is AWESOME. It's Tarkett Fiberfloor (http://www.tarkettna.com/en/Products/FiberFloor/tabid/68/Default.aspx). It's kind of spendy ($2.75 per square foot), but worked out great and not too expensive in my teeny kitchen. As long as your existing floor is in reasonable condition, you just cut it, put it down, and put in your baseboard. We (read: my sister, with cheerleading and support from me) cut most of it in place with very sharp razor blade, using a hair dryer in the touchy areas to make it more bendy (it's pretty floppy already, but some areas needed surgical precision--the entry way to the dining room, for instance). But you can also cut it with scissors, if your baseboards are deep enough to give you wiggle room.

I have quarter-round to put in, under the sink and stuff, but I like it the way it is, so I don't think I'm going to install that after all.

And definitely--you've got my cell, right? I'd love to have dinner or whatever. It'd be great to see you!

ETA: The color/model whatever is Oriental Seagrass, in the Fashion line. They have lots of others, but that one is my favorite hands down. Though the Katilyn Plum is pretty, too--I just don't have a place that it would work in: http://www.tarkettna.com/en/Products/FiberFloor/tabid/68/Default.aspx
