First: DigitalWave has some really beautiful jewelry she's selling to make ends meet--go look! I am very excited about the pretty lapis earrings--I've been looking for lapis earrings for awhile now. And, you know, it's good to be able to help each other out.I gets a 
ms_nerd this weekend! So awesome. GK marathon!! I'm hoping it will be pretty out, so we can get outside some, too. *checks weather* Allll righty then. Well, can't have everything. :DSemi-related--I read One Bullet Away while I was on vacation, and I just. I expected it to be a bit of a slog, because I knew not only the end, but the beginning and most of the middle, too. You know? Plus, a lot of people's autobiographies are... not so much. Especially someone who's so young.
It was riveting--no, really. I started it Wednesday morning, lounging around on the futon at the beach motel, and I read pretty much straight through until I finished it just before midnight. I literally didn't put it down except to meet basic physical needs. Highly recommended.OK, back to work!ETA: Also! I just about gave myself a coronary, thinking that the Yuletart deadline for newbies was Novemeber 3rd. Ack! I have an idea, and sketches, but that would have been next weekend, and I have company this weekend!
But no, it's November 23rd. *breathes HUGE sigh of relief* Damn. Don't DO that yourself, Chris!
