Three steps back, but really one step forward
So I went yesterday and got a lot of stuff done for my new life. Those of you that dont know by now, my current job is coming to an end. I work for a really small company and the money has run out so the doors are officially closing. This is a bit of a problem in my world. I have become quite acustom to living the way I do so its going to take some work to get out of that habbit. In the mean time I had an interview at Chili's yesterday and it seems to be promising. So you all will have to come visit so I can serve you. I didnt really want to get back into the restaurant business but its where the money is. I also went yesterday and talked to a counselor at SPC, thats right folks Im going back to school. 2 years ago I would have told you this day would not have come, but Im actually quite excited about it. Being away, and growing up too, makes me realize what I need to do while Im there and I think this time around will be a lot better. I am driving down to the St Pete campus today, which is where the health services building is for the college, to put in my application for emt/paramedic school. The counselor said I was in good standing and there shouldnt be any reason I dont get in.
So, as far as the title of this entry goes....I'll hold on while you go back up and look......ok. I feel like im taking 3 steps back in the fact that when I started the current job I am at now, I was in school and just recently out of the restaurant building. Now, almost 2 years later, Im in school and back in the restaurant business. But I also feel like I am making the right moves and moving forward in life. I have a really good outlook on how things are going to pan out so all is well. Thats all I guess for now. I will write more after my interview with the GM on thursday to know for sure if I got the job. If I do, friday will be my last day at this current job, and I will have all next week off so hit me up. Have a great day everyone.
