(no subject)
So it was quite a packed weekend. Friday I started to get sick, which sucks the big one. Well technically I "started" getting sick on Thursday and was full blown sick by Friday. Left work early for two reasons: 1. No one was really there so those of us that were decided we would make it an early day; and B. I had to go over to Bill Jacksons to pick up my SCUBA equipment for our dive on Saturday. Friday night went and saw United 93 which was every bit of amazing. I recommend that everyone needs to see it once. I was planning on calling it an early night seeing as I had to be up at 530 on Sat but I got a call from my drunk brother who needed a ride. Luckilly Kristen went with me to pick him up cause I had to drive his car home for him, and she took mine. So I didnt get to bed until around 12, which was not in the plans.
Saturday I was told the two guys that were picking us(my bro and i) up were going to be there between 545 and 6. Seeing as I am an ontime if not early person, I decide ill get up at 515 to take a quick shower and be ready to go by 530ish. Well im in the shower(around 520) and my bro comes in and says they are outside waiting on us. CRAP! Not a good start to the morning. Anyway, we drove the 2 hours to rainbow river and dove for about 2 hours. It was lots of fun. We went into a few caves, some of which the entry ways were only as big as you could fit. Saw lots of awesome fish, unfortunately our camera wasnt working so I got no pictures. We got back home around 130. I went over to the Davis house to see Jeffrey and Dixie before they left for a wedding. I miss them being around, they are always fun. Saturday night my fam and I went out to Bella's, a little italian place in S. Tampa. After that we went and saw Mama Mia and the Perfoming Arts Center. It was really good. I only recognized a few songs, but it was still quite enjoyable. By this time the sickness and sheer exhaustion was kicking in so I went home and went right to bed. oh yeah, ps, scuba and sickness=possiblity of terrible times. It all worked out though. Also got the word from Greta that she was in town, and had been for a week and just didnt tell anyone. This made me quite upset actually. I thought I was pretty close with her, and to know that she would be here for a week and not tell me, and then call the night before she leaves and expect me to just drop everything and come see her, it made me mad.
Sunday my family and I had our club pictures in the morning, hence why i was not at church, and then went to brunch at the club for mothers day. After brunch I went over to Jareds and wasted some time on the xbox. I talked to gret and we decided to meet at marble slab before she had to leave. It was good to see her again, but the whole thing also really put our friendship in perspective for me. I met her boyfriend and he seems really nice. I was glad I got to see her, it opened up some new light for me. Then sunday night my fam and I went and played some doubles tennis at the club. It was good to hang out with the whole family, we are all pretty busy so it doesnt happen as often as it should. Then we went home and ordered some fridays to go and called it a night.
All in all, it was a great weekend. Best complete weekend Ive had in a long time. Cheers to all the moms out there. Out!
