Went to a # doors Down, daughtrey concert last night. I was more into wanting a night of rock than any particular interest in either of them. My first rock concert in a couple years.
I got down to the civic center and the line was unbelievable to me, but it looks like they were only letting in folks a half hour before the show. On the upside, the line went very quickly and I got to my seat. They weren't billed, but the opening at was Aranda and they did a 30 minute set. They were very good and I going to have to check them out later.
Daughtrey came on next and he rocked the house. I"m not the world's biggest fan of his stuff, but everyone else sure did. One entertaining dude. Oddly enough, my favorite song was him doing a cover of 'In The Air Tonight' by Phil Collins. He was joined by the lead singer of 3 Doors Down.
After another set break, 3 Doors Down came on and I enjoyed them a lot more. It was so awesome to literally feel the beat. They ran through some of of their greatest hits and Daughtrey joined them on Kryptonite.
Pretty much a 90 minute set from both so a full night of everyone rocking on.
