Got my tickets for the PLUG Awards. I'm so anxious to see Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, words can't describe it. I've never had a band impact me musically and personally as much as they have in such a short amount of time. My method of writing lyrics, content of lyrics, and even style of lyrics has changed.
Listening to Nick's lectures on both love songs and god have also allowed me to reconsider my writing and music, and even more so reconsider my reasons for writing.
Furthermore, John Hillcoat is a fantastic director. His work on the Bad Seeds videos kicks my ass every time I see them.
