Well, for those who care, here is a short jot list of what's been going on in my life since school started back:
- classes are interesting. However, one of my professors is thouroughly convinced he is teaching the most important class ever. It is Philosophy of Mind, and it is interesting, but still . . .
-had a new roommate move in to try to balance the craziness that goes on in this apartment. He almost moved out though due to my roommates' "questionable" activities. The head of the BASE program finally talked to the both of them and told them it was time to stop smoking that shit, or they'd be kicked off the hall. Probem solved, for the moment anyways . . .
- doing a lot with A Phi O, the coed service fraternity I am in. They are a good group of people, and it is nice to be around people who have the same values as me.
- I am being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the "oldest and most distinguished honor society in America." This proves that I am in fact a genius. Or, maybe it just means I am a huge nerd who works too hard. You decide. They say that the school will graciously cover my induction fees, but that I must pay 65 dollars for some shit. Whatever.
- I'm looking at options for my summer. I'll either be doing the horse thing, or this scholarship and service program. With that, I would live on campus in a borrowed frat house and be payed a stipend to intern at a local volunteering program. I think that would be pretty awesome, but I'm not sure I could give up doing the horse thing. I guess we'll have to see.
Anyways, life is good. A little complicated at the moment, but good none the less. I hope all of you are doing excellent. Peace.
