Here Be Singing, a photo by

Always a good sign this.
Good things to post about. Went to my choir teachers place for their monthly Sunday Shanty singing session. In two hours we sang through 26 different songs.
Sea Shanties are short by their very nature. If the job the shanty is providing the rhythm for isn't completed by the end of the song. Then you either sing it again, and again... Or switch to something with a similar cadence pattern. IF you're singing them for fun, then it is very easy to sprint through a bunch of pumps, halyards and fore-biters without touching the sides really.
The singing crew was a variety of ages and experience levels.
Tomorrow I'll tell you about going to Cubs. I know, I know but it'll have to wait. I don't want to spoil you all at once.
