Today is a good day. The flowering trees smell really good and I ate pine from a section of trees I never thought to eat pine from. I'm keeping The Odyssey and The Iliad for my children but I don't know how I'm going to teach them the beauty of Homer without Peter Gruen. Or the beauty of life, really, which pretty much sums up what I learned from him. I feel like today is part of a past era, like something from sophomore year, maybe. I went to go sign my timesheet just now and got there only to remember that the office closes at 4:30. Duh. There's a check waiting for me at the Administrative Services Building. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
