i've moved back 'home' and have just filled out an application of employment. nothing exciting, just for micheals (the art store)- framing dept. discounted supplies being my biggest pull for there, and to learn a new aspect of my trade. i've always thought frames were the sparkle to the lbd...
funny how i've come back to do what i truly wanted before i even left. you might remember that i dropped out of beauty school and left my job at the same time. 'cause i wanted to simply work at an art supply store and BE a painter. but i couldn't do that then, with life as it was. thousands of miles and a few years later, i do believe i am capable.
i haven't been 'home' in 10 years. 10 long years... being back on these sands reminds me of better times. a mentality and lifestyle that i'd long forgotten.
funny, as plastic as this state is known to be- it's the people raised here that are the realest mother fuckers i've ever known.
