do you think you're lucky? do you think it's really luck?
i consider myself lucky, but i don't believe in luck, i believe in being blessed. i have been blessed with friends, family, a big house, a car, two jobs, and oppurtunity beyond comprehension. i sit in my basement typing and watching tv coverage of the other half of the world, a large part of which is in some sort of conflict or war. ask yourself - why was i born to a life in america, and not in lebanon? was it to sit uncaring about the events of the world and whatever what happens outside of your bubble of influence? i doubt it. i'm not saying that we drop everything and join the peace corps (although i think abuot it), but that we are thankful for our blessings and all that we have, and all that we have to give.
