Don't think i even did my exam results post yet;

Audit 49
Corporate Finance and investment 65
Advanced Taxation 65
Decision making planning and control 67

Sum: up am pissed at audit, met my lecture to see why i did so bad (average mark was 44% and 32%of people failed the unit) H said that although i clearly planned the essays they where too sporadic and not enough detail i.e. i had good ideas and didn't build on them enough. could have been worse but i thought i did well i now understand why, no control.

Cfin i fecked a 10 mark question so 65 is satisfactory Tax messed up 1st big question and a lot theory so happy enough Dmpc, well its my joint best mark ever (got 67 for AIS in 2nd year and 67 for IFA in 1st) but i was still a little disappointed since i cant seem to break 70% (even for exam got 69) seems beyond me because i worked so hard on dmpc specifically.... and this was my favourite thing as well... The lecturer said she was pleased with mine and new i did well so that cheered me up. So the other three where satisfactory things i guess...got what deserved at least.

In uni got a little bit of a hard time for not singing and dancing and woohooing about them even though plenty guys did better. (they will say i was moaning but i specifically did not moan lol only gave my opinion when asked).

3 of the marks this year count towards next years award none of these marks meet what i want but i guess the 65 and 67 are not too bad overall average for semester of 61% is far short of what i wanted but at least its a 2:1. Means i need everything to be in the 60+ next semester though to keep that :S which will be no easy task. My aim is 2 70's (and a pass) though since i never have had a 70 which is quite bad. (for me, my expectations- some people just wanna pass and that pleases me i just need to be best i can... guess thats annoying to some people but cant help it.

Gigs - Don't think i have updated at all on the subject bar soil this year

+44 : was fun a great album performed well got a cool T-shirt for 7.50 few uni boys there had a a giggle with Nikki Brad Greg and Graeme good night. i thought it was going to be ruined when no Travis barker was on stage and it was the LAMEST pits ever seen by man. However a good sing-a-long fantastic atmosphere very pleased

Brand New: New album is unreal, very classy and the took that into the show. (supports pretty dire) the lead was overly dominating but he opened the show brilliantly like no band i have ever seen so atmospheric. almost romantic. played 80% of the great old stuff well whole 1st hour was definitely worth every penny was so glad to be there fantastic. i would have said best gig ever had they closed properly the ended on a new song that dragged out with no encore and last few songs all new and in my view not the best of their new stuff. But fantastic live brilliant lights, just a spectacle. heard 70x7 a song very close to my heart and always will be.

The Get Happy Tour: Exactly as it said on the fucking tin, it was a mini festival of joy hyper shiny happy people all the supports performed well and where fun. Every paper rated it at least 4 stars. Wheatus my god that man's voice live was worth every penny on its own, if you like them you must see live i implore you. Army of freshman are a good band to my taste anyways warmed up well. Son of Dork - well most people are too closed minded to accept but they did the job they where there for, not gonna write any symphonies but like hell can they jump about and strum 3 cords and make kids smile (is a kid they are fun and write catchy is basic lyrics -if they write them) Bowling for soup - point one only on for an hour if they where on for 20mins more i would beat any gig i have ever been to no doubt. Unreal, didn't play too much new stuff just the good shit everyone was singing EVERYONE had hands in air (bar louise) and everyone was friendly and fun bubbles blowing lights flashing it was the gig equivalent to pantomime for adolescents
played all best stuff and they are def in my top band list easy now (i.e. Travis Green day Oasis. Soil, Drowning pool , Lost Prophets, Disturbed, Placebo, BFS)

Also had a mini gig at the barfly last night with Graeme seeing an instrumental band called troubles great wee night it was to 2 good bands excellent dingy venue and the most artistic expression performance met the lead singer twice got him to sign stuff (former lead of hope of the states for those in the know) but yeah lets be emo i felt myself really feel the music and am so pleased i went now. great night. *puts up poster+ticket*

Now why do i attract the weird?

Last night walking down from the student halls this guy starts talking to me - Andy from carstairs- stuck in Glasgow because his mate was not in proceeded to walk me down to queen street. The whole time i thought since he was small that he was distracting me so some other guy could jump me so i was very weary turns out he just wanted some company shook my hand at queen street and walked on, what a nice guy odd tho habitual drug taker, clearly i look the type people can open up to. Andy leaves on train enter Andy 2 from Garrowhill. these 2guys very hammered sit down next to me talk none-sense about how good kebabs are; i agreed despite being sober. then this cute girl (ok about a 6.5 short denim skirt) they start saying "she's cute for an emo", denim don't scream emo to me but there ya go. the one proceeds to attempt to "chat her up like" much to my amusement. now in the short journey he actual got a an email address and seemed to be quite pleased, i had to ask her as she got off if it was real and it was, mad girl. before they got off at garrowhill i gave standing applause for such good work. GOOD MAN.!!

Ah yes Valentine's day.

Well i had a plan so i will let you all judge for yourselves how well it worked out.
she comes down mine on train expecting quite night in with a GIANT pizza sized cookie =) this pleased me. Then took her to the mint in Coatbridge having booked 4 local places in case Indian Chinese mint and med grill. so she could choose. This also means a lot of guys locally where saved money. 3 anyways. she came home to find my room candlelit with her favourite (well one of) romantic films Romeo and Juliet ready with her chocolate fondue at ready also. then spent next day in bed. No more details given. but yeah i actually enjoyed it (as opposed to last years disaster) oh yeah in her Val day card was also her birthday present tickets to AFI.

so was not overboard but she still seemed to appreciate. yay!! i did good.

*coughs* circus of horrors exactly that was freaky but too jackass like some parts really good some just plain idiotic though it was enjoyed. However, Heather met Marc i have one word
LOL
Marc played nice so was pleased with him actually. But Heather still told him what she thought of him. she was not well and not in mood for childishness. I am actually quite proud of her weird as it sounds she dealt with it better than i would, think its clear she dont like Marc though hehe. Marc "you don't like me? why dont you like me" Heather "because your annoying" me in middle trying to not laugh so Marc and heather wouldn't take it wrong way. ah fun fun. good times.

Heather's fantastic. been a little clingy recently but not to a terrifying degree yet and she's been really supportive.

Ah also meant to mention spending time with Louise was fun since i haven't seen my girl a lot recently, she meets Heather Monday. We'll see. Stories anyone?
yeah Chris i don't think you are getting my txts or calls you have new mobile number now ot something? or just not like me? anyways we have gigs to discuss.

hope you all like the entry i like comments
