update:
to celebrate this occasion (plus my new found freedom) I'm cooking for Jin tonight :/ It's true, we have been together for over a year and yes, I have never cooked for him. I barely eat at home and that's the truth. Anyway I decided to make it traditional British food - as he has no idea what it is, along with the rest of the world. I'm going for Shepherd's Pie, high in fat and calories and designed to make yu feel like a complete bloater but oh well, it is yummy and he had better eat it. Googling 'how to cook shepherd's pie' has proven to be frightening. My mum makes it look so easy...and with Jin's tiny kitchen, this isn't going to be so. Finger's crossed :)
