Well, after my fussing I read Kill your Friends by John Niven on the train on my way home for holidays. On the way back I finished The Steep Approach to Garbadale by Iain Banks and then moved onto Blind Faith by the deeply uncool Ben Elton. This book caused the man who was checking the tickets to engage me in conversation. Apparently he is a fan of Elton's books but he struggled with this one.
I think I saw the Stand Up comedian Will Hodgson the train. He had bright pink hair, eyeliner and a My Little Pony bag. I'm not sure though. If it was him it looks like he's lost some weight.
