Chris, Ahmed and Reader's cinema club...
I already mentioned in this blog that myself and my ex-BG colleague Ahmed signed up for unlimited passes at the cineworld cinema. Since then we've been going to the cinema regularly. Now my friend Reader has moved to Cardiff he's got one as well and we've been going to the cinema even more regularly, as much as twice a week. It's a great cheap

Magazine Week at Borders
Monday 29th September - Sunday 5th October
Magazine week is a unique opportunity to promote magazines and the influence
they hold over all of our lives across the country. It is a nationwide promotion
(not just Borders) with most retailers, from the independent corner shops to
supermarkets, all buying in to some degree. The week will combine retail
promotions and branding with a packed PR schedule, to excite and educate the
general public about the vast range of titles available. This is the one week of
the year where magazine publishers, distributors and wholesalers strive to work
together and, as part of this process, encourage consumers to purchase new
titles and increase sales within the industry.

There will be 5 National events. These will run on the same days, in all stores:
Monday 29th Sept - Heat Celebrity Quiz
Wednesday 01st October - Uncut Music Quiz
Friday 03rd October - Empire Film Quiz
Saturday 04th October - Mother & Baby Magazine Story Time
Sunday 05th October - BBC Children’s Story Time

Stores will need to run the regional events themselves, along the lines of the movie quizzes that are already run in most stores. Prizes will be provided.
