Borders...
I got to work today to find that things are all change for me.
"Things are all change for you, aren't they?" asked James?
"Are they?" I asked, "how so?"
Turns out I'm no longer gonna be part of the 3 man mags department, I'm gonna be the multimedia guy. That's DVDs and CDs. With the potential to become a ever-so-slightly better paid Multimedia specialist if the department starts doing a bit better next year after they finish St David's 2. Plus it's an extra day a week which is cool 'cos it keeps me away from the breadline.
I don't think James and Marcus are very happy about it 'cos they're not getting a proper replacement for me, just one of the IPT lot two days a week but I guess that's good for me because if I'm not replaced it means I can't be usurped by someone better than me!
Anyway, I'm pretty chuffed about it all. I like working at Borders.
