New additon...

No pics uploaded yet, but my parents had me co-sign a car they just bought two days ago. The car is a 1986 GMC Caballero. For those of you who're asking what the heck that is, it's the GMC sister car to the Chevy El Camino. Basically it's my Malibu in a 2 door form, but with the back seats removed as well as the trunk and replaced with a truck bed. It's a car/ truck thing if you want an even more basic description :p

So yeah we have another G-body platform car in the family, it's nice to drive, but it really makes me miss my Malibu. It's just not the same, lacking my stereo [no room for it in the Caballero with the lack of trunk], lacking seating room etc. Don't get me wrong, I love the car and it's quite pretty, but it's not a big comfy 4 door, it's a big comfy two door but pretty much strictly for 2 passengers. We went to the store with just the three of us, Wifey, Dad and myself, and it was MORE than a tight fit.

On a side note...anyone have a GM CD-player they don't want? Or maybe a wiring harness for an older GM stereo so that I CAN plug up a pair of back sperakers? We bought a couple of boxed 6.5"s so that we could have SOME kind of sound in the car. Right now it's a stock tape deck, which for the year was the high end stereo, but it ONLY has a pair of 3.5" speakers in the dashboard.

Simple Specs:
1986 GMC Caballero
5.0L [305ci] V8 4bbl [Carbureted]
4spd automatic W/ OD
WORKING AC and HEAT!

It was, unfortunately, not cheap Almost $6k. Therefore leaving us with like...NOTHING to do any work, maintenance, or fun stuff. The speakers we bought were road gear POS's but we're hoping that we can at least reuse the boxes if the speakers suck too badly.

Anyway..it's now pushing 5:40am and I have to be to work in 5 minutes. Love you all! *hugs for those who take the time to reply back*

Side note for those who didn't know. I have a new job, high stress and rough swing shift hours still...it sucks, but at least the pay isn't making me feel totally worthless.
