Just wanted to quickly report something interesting at my hotel this weekend... a ventriloquist convention. There are a lot of puppets (several of them anthropomorphic, mind you), a dealer's room, geek talk, pizza boxes and room parties everywhere... I feel like I'm at a furry con again.

It's kinda' nice.

Got to act on my best behavior though, several film crews are in the hotel shooting documentaries - including one for NBC. This is the con's website... http://www.venthaven.com/
