Christmas gluttony
This year the feast consisted of:
Baked ham with a pineapple, lime and ginger glaze ( I made this)
Roast turkey
Roast chicken
Roast potatoes with lemonthyme salt
Sweet potato and pecan bake
Green beans
Cranberry sauce and gravy
Marscapone and raspberry cake
Plum pudding
Cookies and cream cheesecake slice
The wines were a sparkling rosé from Orange, a Marlborough pinot gris and a full size bottle of 1996 Noble One botrytis semillon.
Followed by present-giving, coffee and a long nap.
